The Blazers lobbied to gain admittance in the VCFL along with the Midget Sun but where denied entry for 2009. The SIFC bantam league is struggling with small rosters and financial constraint for travel expenses.

This year due to the number of registrants in our Bantam Program it has been established that we will be having a 12 man team and a 9 man team. Both teams will compete in totally different scheduled leagues and both have the opportunity to successfully compete in a provincial playoff. A committee of unbiased parents was formed to make this decision to benefit and provide playing positions to all the Bantam aged players in Kelowna and area. Each team should receive a minimum of 8 scheduled games this season. Upon board approval and acceptance of schedules and available games this will commence Sept /09. John Puglia – president KMFA
