Kelowna Minor Football Association
June ends another successful year for our Flag Season. It is hoped that all participants had fun this season. 2007 proudly had over 140 registered youth for the KMFA Flag Spring League. Ages 7-9 Division One Champs were the Westside Sun Devils, while the Colts took the Championship Title for Division Two (ages 10-12.) Games were held each Sunday at the Mission 72 sport field with one practice being held during the week.
Beginner Football Players are encouraged to start with the Spring Flag touch League. Even though it is not a requirement to play tackle, it does teach newcomers some football fundamentals.
In Kelowna Minor Football, we strive to ensure that we have the best coaches possible to pass on their knowledge of the game. We strongly believe that this game is about your children and we should give them the opportunity to have fun and succeed in team sports.
Registration Forms for next year's Flag Football season will be available online in early February 2008.
